Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Lacerte Tax software, and a passion for helping clients understand and manage their finances. This role requires excellent communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a desire to advance within the company.
Responsibilities- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Handle tax planning, preparation, and filing using Lacerte Tax software and ProConnect Tax Online
- Maintain and reconcile accounts using QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
- Communicate effectively with clients to address their financial needs and concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures for clients
- Provide support for tax resolution
- Participate in continuous professional development and training
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online & Desktop, Lacerte Tax software and ProConnect Tax Online
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented tax & accounting professional to join our growing team.
This is an on-site position where you will be an integral part of our team, utilizing your expertise to provide exceptional service and strategic advice to our diverse clientele. Our firm is guided by proven expertise and a commitment to personalized service.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses using Lacerte tax software.
- Reconcile monthly accounts for our bookkeeping clients.
- Conduct monthly client meetings to discuss their financial books.
- Handle and process 1099s and payroll postings.
- Provide timely QuickBooks Online (QBO) support to clients and generate reports as needed.
- Review client accounts to proactively identify their accounting and tax needs.
- Utilize critical thinking and expertise to advise clients efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field.
- QuickBooks Online (QBO) Certification.
- Relevant experience in tax and accounting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- CPA Candidate, EA Candidate, or CTEC (California Tax Education Council) registration.
- Experience with Lacerte tax software and TaxDome or other practice management software.
- Specialized knowledge in Estate & Trust Planning, Real Estate Tax Strategy, or Small Business Accounting (especially in Construction, Manufacturing, or Ecommerce).
- Salary: $25 - $35 per hour, based on skill, education, and experience.
- Work Schedule: On-site. Full-time, Monday-Friday during peak seasons and Monday-Thursday during off-seasons.
